Old Sarum Nursery School

Welcome!

We are a friendly nursery providing quality full-day care in a fun environment for children aged two to five years in Salisbury's Old Sarum community.

The nursery, opened in 2012, is a not-for-profit charitable company run by trustees, operating from dedicated rooms within the premises of Old Sarum Primary School and an adjacent community centre.

We run three sessions a day (8.30am-11.30am, 11.30am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-3.00pm) as well as a breakfast club from 8am-8.30am. We are open Monday to Friday during Wiltshire schools term time (38 weeks per year).

Our excellent, purpose-built facilities let us cater for 38 early-years children per session in a free-flow learning environment. We supply a healthy morning and afternoon snack to promote healthy eating.

All our staff are qualified to Level 3 or above and have many years childcare experience.

Please enjoy our site – I suggest starting with an introduction here or the video tour below – and don't hesitate to contact us with questions or comments!

Toys and belongings

Please can ALL belongings i.e.  coats, drink bottles, lunch boxes etc be named and labelled to help staff relocate them at the end of the busy day and ensure they return to the rightful owner. And please can we ask that you refrain from bringing in toys from home, as it causes upset when the children have to share them or if they get broken.

Stars of the Month

Stars of the month will return next term, as this term we are building our essential keyperson relationships to enable your child to feel safe and secure at nursery and embed our routine and boundaries expected within nursery.
