Old Sarum Nursery School

Welcome!

We are a friendly nursery providing quality full-day care in a fun environment for children aged two to five years in Salisbury's Old Sarum community.

The nursery, opened in 2012, is a not-for-profit charitable company run by trustees, operating from dedicated rooms within the premises of Old Sarum Primary School and an adjacent community centre.

We run three sessions a day (8.30am-11.30am, 11.30am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-3.30pm) as well as a breakfast club from 8am-8.30am. We are open Monday to Friday during Wiltshire schools term time (38 weeks per year).

Our excellent, purpose-built facilities allow us to cater for 38 early-years children per session in a free-flow learning environment. A healthy mid-morning and afternoon snack is supplied to promote healthy eating.

All our staff are qualified to a level 3 or above and have many years childcare experience.

Please enjoy our site – I suggest starting with an introduction here or the video tour below – and don't hesitate to contact us with questions or comments!

Halthy Teeth, Healthy Drinks

Healthy Eating Policy The new Early Years Foundation Stage 2021 framework really stresses the importance of oral hygiene and notes the rising number of children with tooth decay. 1 in 4 children under 5 now need teeth extracted due to decay. We have noticed that more children are bringing in juice in their drink bottles, please can we remind you we are only allowed to promote milk and water during session.

Individual Photographs

We have arranged for Simon Ward to come and take individual photos on Wednesday 10th Nov from 9.15am. More details to follow soon.
