Old Sarum Nursery School

Welcome!

We are a friendly nursery providing quality full-day care in a fun environment for children aged two to five years in Salisbury's Old Sarum community.

The nursery, opened in 2012, is a not-for-profit charitable company run by trustees, operating from dedicated rooms within the premises of Old Sarum Primary School and an adjacent community centre.

We run three sessions a day (8.30am-11.30am, 11.30am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-3.30pm) as well as a breakfast club from 8am-8.30am. We are open Monday to Friday during Wiltshire schools term time (38 weeks per year).

Our excellent, purpose-built facilities allow us to cater for 38 early-years children per session in a free-flow learning environment. A healthy mid-morning and afternoon snack is supplied to promote healthy eating.

All our staff are qualified to a level 3 or above and have many years childcare experience.

Please enjoy our site – I suggest starting with an introduction here or the video tour below – and don't hesitate to contact us with questions or comments!

Clothing and Footwear ...

Please can you supply a lightweight jacket for your child to enjoy our free flow play in the outside environment, as it is quite chilly in the morning until the sun comes under the canopy. Also please ensure you have sensible footwear to avoid accidents and have names in all clothes items, so we allocate back to your child at the end of the session.

... and Suncream

With the warmer weather, please apply sun cream on your child before their session. And please supply a named bottle of cream in their bag for after lunch.

Nursery AGM Postponed

Our annual general meeting had to be postponed from April 27 and will be rescheduled in May. Watch this space if you are interested in attending!
